Terms of use
Plain terms for a free tool: use it freely, but treat the output as an estimate and confirm the unit basis on your own documentation.
Acceptance
By using Ton to Kg you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Educational purpose only
The calculators and articles on this site are provided for general information and education. They are not professional measurement, engineering or legal advice, and using them does not create an advisory relationship of any kind.
We are not a standards body, a certification authority or a trade regulator. We do not weigh or certify goods and we do not receive a commission on anything you convert.
Accuracy of results
Results are estimates produced from the figures you enter and the standard conversion constants described on our methodology page. They depend entirely on those inputs being correct.
Actual weights depend on your source's specific basis — which ton type it uses, and its rounding, tare and net-or-gross conventions — which may differ from the constants modelled here.
- Always confirm which ton type, and the exact unit basis, directly on your documentation before relying on a figure.
- Certified measurements and trade documents take precedence over any figure shown on this site.
- Results use the exact constants; your rounded or trade-legal figure may differ slightly.
No warranty
The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that results will meet your requirements.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site — including decisions made on the basis of a calculation shown here.
Intellectual property
The content, design, code and illustrations on this site are our property. You may use the calculators freely for personal and commercial decision-making, and quote short excerpts with attribution and a link. You may not republish the site's content wholesale or present it as your own.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time; the revision date below reflects the latest version. Questions can be sent to hello@tontokg.com.
Formulas and content last reviewed . Ton definitions are fixed by the SI — but always confirm which ton type a source means before you convert.
